What the HK is on your Needles? Vol. 39
Time to check out Ravelry projects again and see what some of you have been knitting with Hazel Knits yarn.
First up today is Ceres' (ravname: samsaraknitter) cozy Camas hat by Cory Ellen Boburg. Ceres knit hers in Cadence in Phinney Ridge (currently exclusive to the Fiber Gallery). Toasty!
Nancy (ravname: nancyann) knit this stunning Ashton shawl by Dee O'Keefe in Artisan sock in Lipstick, 1984. Eye-catching in this colour.
Did you know our current KAL on Ravelry features Popular (or Pink) patterns? Aunt2edie's adorable Baby Surprise Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmerman would definitely have been a perfect project. The Baby Surprise Jacket has more than 23,000 projects on Ravelry! Aunt2edie knit hers in Artisan sock in Spooky Hue.
Madeleine (ravname: MadeleineL) knit a gorgeous Ardent shawl by Janina Kallio in Entice in Cabbage Rose. You can't go wrong with cashmere around the neck.
Tracy (ravname: remington) participated in Romi's Mystery Shawl 2015 by Rosemary Hill and once the mystery was revealed she had a beautiful two-colour shawl in Jay Blue in Divine and Cirrus in Entice.
I absolutely love the colours Phillipa (ravname: phils) chose for her amazing Downtown Line shawl by Joji Locatelli. I never would of thought to put together Carnelian and Twilight (both in Entice) but this picture makes me think of a Monarch butterfly and who doesn't think those are gorgeous? You can't argue with nature.
Cindy (ravname: GmaX4) also matched up an unexpected pair of colours for her delightful Eisern socks by General Hogbuffer - Icicle and Cinnabar in Artisan sock. And I must say it works. It definitely works.
And finally, the lovely Dawn (ravname: dawn76) knit herself an awesome postgrad sweater by Alicia Plummer in Cadence Quill and Jay Blue. Dawn's photos are always great and you should check out her Ravelry page for more fun shots of this and other sweaters.
Thanks to everyone for letting me share their wonderful projects. You are all so inspirational.
