Back Road Scarf
Our good friend, Andrea Rangel, is at it again!
This time Andrea has a fantastic scarf pattern, the Back Road Scarf, in the new Knitscene Accessories 2013 issue which just hit news stands this week.
Back Road is a textured scarf knit in DK Lively with a crocheted border in three colours of Artisan Sock. The sample used in the magazine was knit in Shanny Pants with Sassafras, Nekkid and Lichen.
In celebration of the pattern release, Wendee has put together a few colour combinations and is listing these kits on the Hazel Knits website (pattern not included in the kit). The kits include three skeins of DK Lively and three quarter skeins of Artisan Sock. You can find more information on the website. There are so many great colour combinations - so we just gave a tickler. If you have some ideas of your own, we can make substitutions.
Andrea has also written up a nice blog post of her own with the details of this project.
The Back Road Scarf would be the perfect project for our current Knitalong on Ravelry featuring designs by Andrea. Check out the thread on Ravelry for more information. With more than a month left, there is still plenty of time to cast on.
Congratulations on another gorgeous pattern, Andrea! We can't wait to see what you knit up next.
