Knitspot KAL

We've just announced our latest Knitalong on Ravelry and this time we are featuring designs by the amazing Anne Hanson of Knitspot.

The new KAL begins on May 1st and runs until June 30th. Check out the announcement post on Ravelry here for details. You can find a list of Anne's collection of designs here. So grab some of your favourite Hazel Knits yarn, one of Anne's lovely patterns and join us. Post photos and details of your finished projects and you will be eligible to win prizes!

I became aware of Anne's patterns about two years ago and have knit a number of them since that time, mostly in Hazel Knits Artisan sock.

This is Japanese Feathers in Violeta. Some of you might remember this as one of the displays in the Hazel Knits booth at Sock Summit 2009. I was thrilled when Wendee asked if she could borrow it. I then got to wear it to the wedding of two of my best friends.

Here is Roger in Lochness. These were a special gift for my brother in law.

Bouganvillea in Lipstick 1984. The truth be told I only had to knit one of these as a sample knit, but it was a beauty and so hard to give away.

And finally, Papaver in Hoppy Blonde. These sat in my gift drawer for a while and I finally gifted them to myself last week. What a treat!
