Trunk Show - October 25th, 2008

I just love writing about myself in the third person!!! Just kidding - I just thought it would be nice and easy to copy and paste this note from the Hilltop Yarn e-mail regarding the trunk show tomorrow... Hope to see you there!!

Meet the irresistable Wendee from Hazel Knits Yarn
Hazel Knits yarn is hand-painted and hand-dyed right here in Seattle, but it has gained a worldwide following since its debut only a few years ago. Wendee's colorways are often inspired by our own Northwest places and natural wonders, like Alki Beach, Green Lake, and the Olympic Rain Forest.

Join us on Saturday, October 25, from 11-12:30, to meet Wendee and her wonderful yarns! She'll be bringing the full line of Hazel Knits yarn and kits, as well as several of her one-of-a-kind "Rogue" colorways. You'll be able to view samples of her most popular yarns and create your own color cards to take with you. This is a rare opportunity to support both a local, independent, woman-owned business and a new fiber-world sensation at the same time!

Although the finer weight of yarn that Wendee carries is called Artisan Sock, it can be used for a variety of projects. Think hats, lacy scarves, mittens, and children's clothes. And with the wide range of colors, you're sure to find the perfect shade to compliment your wardrobe. In addition, Wendee will bring her new Soy Merino blend, a DK weight delight, and kits galore!

We're going to make it even easier for you. Between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm you will have the opportunity to create your own color card with all of the standard Artisan Sock colorways. Mix and match, choose your favorites - it's up to you! The color card will be yours to keep and refer to when you find that "must make" project!

We hope you'll join us!

With thanks,
