Pictures from the Bobbin's Nest yarn release party

I had such a blast down at Stitches West. I met so many great people - this community of fiber enthusiasts just rocks my world.

I was so honored to be hosted by Bobbin's Nest Studio for my yarn release party. Erin McGee is the owner of the absolutely gorgeous shop and boy, can she really throw a party! Crab cakes and hors d’oeuvres were eaten, wine and champagne were flowing.

She also has a fun, talented staff of knitting specialists that really made me feel at home. If you are shopping for yarn in the Bay Area, I highly recommend a trip over to Bobbin's Nest. Oh, and did I mention they have fabric too? Swoon!

This one is a Bobbin's Nest exclusive color. Call 408.246.1121 for details.

Yay - Jess and Casey stopped by! I'm sure they were dog-tired from managing the mob at the Ravelry booth all day, however they rallied the troops to attend the Ravelry meet-up over at a near-by coffee shop and popped into Bobbin's Nest afterwards.

Jeni (on the left) designed the exquisite Moon River sock pattern for the Bobbin's Nest colorway and Melissa (on the right) designed the elegant Violette wrist warmers using a skein of "Rogue" one-of-a-kind colorway. Keep an eye out for these two up and coming designers!

You have very, very nice semi-solids socks yarn. I will have to start saving pennies to get some. I like the idea or coordinating stitch markers, very cute.

Nice colors! Looks like the opening of the shop will be good timing for me since I'll be finishing up some essays and finals for the end of the term on the 16th. Plus I think I'll get paid right about then too. :) Nice reward system, huh?

Your yarns are as warm looking as you heart is loving, Thank you so much for the gift box and words of wisdom you sent to a young artist in Astoria.
